S.T.I.L.L. Breathing

Welcome to S.T.I.L.L.

This project is the result of conversations and collaboration with U.S. based artist Ann Katrin Spiess and Norwegian ecophilosopher Per Ingvar Haukeland.

Ann Katrin's installation and meditative performance S.P.I.L.L (Silent and Persistent Infusion of Life and Love) will take place in the Kunsternhus Oslo from October 26th to November 3rd.

Inspired by the fine example set by the trees in my local park, my 'Gentle Action' is to choose not to act. I will participate remotely from my home in Scotland, where I will practise the gentle art of keeping still.

I invite you to join me in a moment of stillness. I will be preparing a series of spoken word sound recordings which you may download and listen to at a time and a place of your own choosing.
